First Day of Spring

Today is the first day of spring. This is a bitter/sweet moment for me. I am very excited that color will be coming back to our world after a dreary, monochromatic winter but it also means pollen is back. For the million of us that suffer from allergies we are torn between wanting to frolic outside and wanting to be comfortable.
Oh, to be able to play carefree in the newness of spring. No runny nose, no sneezing, no itchy eye, no allergy medicine side effects. All you would have to worry about is being tired at the end of the day from your accomplishments: picking dandy lions (we have plenty in our yard), and just simply playing until your heart's content. Ah, I miss those days.

I went out today to spray weeds & dandy lions and I would just like to share with you the biggest weed I've ever seen in my life. This thing has got to be 1 1/2 ft to 2 ft in diameter. I sprayed it with weed be gone stuff. Hopefully that will kill it before it takes over our house!
