Tennessee Snow

I hate Tennessee weather!! I've lived here a number of years and and just can't get used to it! I'm from Georgia and Georgia weather is hot but it's consistently hot. We would pull out our heavy coats, if we had one, if it got below 50.
Here in TN, we had "snow" Saturday & Sunday and today we will have a high of almost 60 degrees!! That's around a 20-30 degree change in just 24 hours.
I use the term "snow" lightly, too. First, the weather people insight riots all over town and cause grocery stores to go out of milk and bread. (Maybe the weather people are being paid by the grocery stores to do so, hummm...) Anyway, then when "snow" finally comes it's a "dusting" which means two snow flakes come down and 57 wrecks occur spontaneously all over town! Then schools are closed for the next day. Children are so excited to play in the snow when they wake up only to look out their windows and find... NO SNOW! What's worse is that they don't even get to bundle up and face the cold weather because chances are a warm front has come through and it's 73 degrees. But despite this warm up, the weather people say things like "Is there more snow in the future?" Are they psychics or weather people? Both are pretty inaccurate! They have it rough here in TN though. It's hard to know what's going to happen around here.
There's a saying around here that fits so well: "If you don't like it (the weather), give it a few hours and it will be completely different." Amen!
