Thank God for the Heat

Last week, in Nashville, we hit temperatures of 103-106 every day. The buses have no AC and some schools didn't either which made students sick. Fortunately, my school does have AC but because of the heat, Metro decided to do half days this week because the didn't want to chance it that temperatures can get that high again. All of this week we will have the students for half of the day!!!!!!

This has been such a blessing!! I was so incredibly overwhelmed last week. I felt like I couldn't get my feet back under me! This week will give me the opportunity to do just that and to get more organized and a chance to plan.

I'm telling you. This is truly a gift straight from God. I really feel like He is taking care of me. On my way home from work today, Nicole C. Mullins' song "Call on Jesus" came on the radio. The chorus says:

But when I call on Jesus,
All things are possible
I can mount on wings like eagles' and soar
When I call on Jesus,
Mountains are gonna fall
'Cause He'll move heaven and earth to come rescue me when I call

I couldn't help but praise Him and thank Him for the half days. It's also been a confirmation that 1. I'm in the right place and that 2. He WILL take care of me & you!

Thank you so much for your continued prayers. It's been such an interesting ride so far. I wonder where things will go next. :)
